Joining the Analytics team, you'll learn how to assess and improve clients' conversion rate optimisation (CRO). CRO is a highly dynamic area centred on analysing consumer behaviour and user experience, through testing and optimising website strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Learning how to run and build reports in industry tools such as Google Analytics
- Learning how to set up website tagging and tracking
- Understanding clients' businesses and their CRO goals
- Assisting with website audits; collecting and analysing clients' website data, understanding why visitors are not converting, why there's a high bounce rate etc.
- Assisting with planning and delivering different website tests i.e. AB, multivariate
- Analysing test results and identifying best UX strategies using industry tools and Excel
- Communicating key insights and recommendations verbally and in written form
- Working collaboratively with other teams in the business
- Listening in to client calls initially, with increased client contact as you develop
Requirements:
- Logical and analytical approach
- Genuine interest in or curiosity around how websites work and how users behave
- Numerically sound; comfortable handling, analysing and presenting data
- IT literate; particularly with Excel, any Python, web coding languages desirable
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, with practical application desirable
- Confident communication
- Eager to learn
