This international technology company creates complex software solutions for the engineering industry.
This is an incredible opportunity for a Spanish speaking Engineering (or related) graduate to begin their career in the technology industry, working for a leading international software company that serves the engineering industry.
You will join a structured training programme, including a 90 day trip abroad to the company's headquarters during your first six months. During this time, you will learn about their products and your customers' businesses. There will be a mix of classroom training, customer visits and shadowing.
The role will initially involve technical support, speaking with clients on the phone and by email to assist with troubleshooting and implementing the software, escalating issues where necessary. During your second and third year at the company, you will travel to client sites, shadowing consultants and gradually taking on more responsibility for implementations, training customers and on-site support.
Throughout the first three years, your training and development will continue via structured and established in-house training schemes. By the time you have finished your training, you will be able to go anywhere in the business as you will be an expert in the software and customer solutions.
Main responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to customers via phone and email.
- Solving complex technical problems via research and analysis.
- Escalating issues to software developers and senior support staff where necessary.
- Training customers in the software.
- Demonstrations, presentations and consulting on client site.
Requirements:
- 2.1 or equivalent in Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Maths, Physics, Chemistry or related.
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Desire to begin a career in the technology industry.
- Strong communicator and enjoys interacting with and meeting people.
