The Company
An EdTech firm that is changing the face of education through their software solutions, helping schools across the country to save time on admin and focus on what's important - the teaching. Currently at least 12,000 schools up and down the UK use at least one of their many products.
The Role
Based out of their offices in Doncaster, you will be enrolled on a 12 month IT sales training programme that is delivered by industry experts. The programme will give you all the fundamental skills to progress quickly into a successful salesperson.
This is a great industry to sell into, as you can directly see the positive impact that their software solutions have in the education sector.
A bit more:
- Successful candidates will join the Inside Sales team, focusing on winning new business or finding additional sales revenue from existing clients.
- Consultative selling approach, talking prospects through the products and solution selling based on needs.
- Largely warm approaches as the business gets lots of inbound interest.
- Encouraged to think creatively about how to engage with potential customers. You could be looking to put on industry events, round table discussions, approaches via social etc. The majority of your approaches will be phone-based.
- Hybrid style working on offer if you like. At least 3 days will need to be office based.
Training; You will be enrolled on to an external IT sales training programme with a qualification at the end of it. Every August there is also a summer training programme whilst schools are shut. You will also be given a Personal Development Plan to help guide your progress for the first 12 months. They use of lots of tech solutions to help you to achieve your objectives.
Salary is £22-24K depending on experience, plus realistic commission of £400 per month and £1K in bonuses, giving a first year OTE of £28-30K which can rise significantly thereafter. - Degree educated.
- Evidence of leadership or high levels of responsibility.
- Experience in a commercial environment would be desirable.
- Motivated and driven to push yourself and be successful.
