Our client is a well-respected software firm that provides its clients with software products and services within the facilities management industry, specifically focussing on workforce management and service delivery.
This is a summer 2017 start and interviews are planned for late January.
This is not your usual software engineering role; it's a highly technical and varied role incorporating working with clients to define their requirements, designing, building and commissioning automation and orchestration functionally using the client's software product suite. This will involve both telephone and on-site face to face work.
This role would suit a candidate who loves technology but wants to get away from 100% coding. You will interact with clients and customers to provide IT software solutions and be hands on in the delivery of them.
You will get exposure to a variety of technologies including: SOAP, REST, Powershell, SSH, JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
You will be provided with a three year structured training programme with rapid career progression and ongoing support for technical and professional development.
Requirements:
- You should have, or be expecting a 2.1 or above (or equivalent) in a relevant degree subject; typically, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or something similar.
- You should have a solid grounding in IT software development principles gained via university projects or self-study.
- Any experience with software code development would be advantageous.
