This company is an engineering tech firm who provide software and consultancy services, to assist clients with the design of electronics and data centres.
The Opportunity
They are seeking an enthusiastic and technically minded graduate to join their growing UK sales team. You will be responsible for supporting the team in building a pipeline of qualified leads and sales opportunities to further their continued success as well as managing and supporting existing accounts. If you are able to take technical subjects and explain them in a clear and engaging way, and enjoy building successful relationships then this is the ideal place to start your career.
The Role
-Following up leads from events to create new business opportunities
-Identify, initiate and build on relationships with prospects
-Manage accounts and renewals with existing customers
-Deliver technical demonstrations of the software to customers over the web and at events
-Work with engineering team to scope and quote for technical consultancy jobs
-Attend client meetings and promote the business at conferences and exhibitions
-Provide regular reports and forecasts of expected new business
The company have a great social culture and are looking for a like-minded and friendly personality to come on-board. The role is based remotely for the foreseeable while the company works from home and you will be provided with all the equipment you need to be successful in the role. You must be able to start work in October.
Essential Skills
-Degree in engineering, maths, science or related
-Able to take complicated technical subjects and explain them clearly and simply
-Self- motivated with a desire to excel, able to work unsupervised
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Charismatic and personable
-Must be comfortable with cold calling and networking
-Must be a quick learner and able to adapt to changing requirements
-Good presentation skills
