A Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business with offices in Paris, Singapore, Beijing, Brazil and the UK with a further office being opened in the USA later this year. Their solutions enable the most prestigious and fastest-growing FMCG organisations in the meticulous planning of the supply chain, from manufacturer to shelf, creating logistical efficiencies, cost savings and reduction in waste.
Well known clients include Heineken, L’Oreal, Warburtons and Charlotte Tilbury. The market is booming and projections are to double in size over 3 years from current turnover of €21m.
The Birmingham office turns over £4.5m and has around 25 staff including many recent graduates. It’s a close knit team who regularly socialise together.
Role
- Start date ASAP (July-Sep)
- Working week is Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm. Hybrid working is on offer
- Responsible for generating qualified sales opportunities with prospective clients using a variety of channels, mainly over the phone, e-mail and LinkedIn
- Finding the right contacts at the right decision making levels and making introductions, outlining benefits of the software
- Targeting Enterprise level businesses across UK and Northern Europe, turning over at least £50m, who will be looking to invest £40-100K pa in software solutions
- Using Salesforce to track and record sales activity
- Training; will include lots and lots of shadowing with the sales director and account executives, listening to calls, taking part in meetings, reviewing e-mail and LinkedIn marketing messages and being fully supported rather being “thrown in the deep end”. You will also learn about the field of supply chain and understand the variety of software solutions
- International opportunities are available and encouraged
- Progression from SDR to account executive based on merit, likely within two years and endless progression opportunities thereafter
Salary
- Starting salary of £26K, with the aim to £30K by end of first year
- Realistic OTE of £30K in year one based on £26K base + monthly and annual bonuses
- By year 3, should be looking to progress to account executive role at salary of £35K+ and £70K OTE
Profile
- Looking for confident, outgoing individuals who are comfortable and passionate about building new relationships
- Any experience in working to targets is very welcome
- Fairly open on degree
- Not essential, but Scandinavian speakers are of interest
