The Company
An international business development consultancy that enables collaboration between companies and technology providers. They have a huge presence across Europe and America and are looking to extend their client base across Asia and South America.
The Role
Their research team is continually growing, opening up new and exciting opportunities for a graduate to play a key role.
The position is an international trade research role with the trade team, delivering projects which support companies to identify opportunities in new markets. When market opportunities are identified, the team helps their clients to understand what the key considerations might be and work to devise a market entry strategy.
You will be working on projects covering a wide variety of international markets and sectors. Research contributions will involve a range of considerations, such as:
- Size and growth of sector
- Geographic prioritisation
- Policy implications
- Consumer trends
- Competitive environment
- Regulation and accreditation
- Tax and legal considerations
- Route to market
You will work across a number of different projects at one time, as part of a team, and will be responsible for delivering on research activity, as well as compiling final reports. The role will also include contributing to, and delivering proposals for new projects.
The team are currently working from home, but will return to their central London office when restrictions are lifted. This position is to start as soon as possible (July latest) and you must have already finished your studies.
Essential Attributes
- A degree (or equivalent) in economics, business, or related from a top university
- Excellent communicator
- Ability to synthesize different research streams and summarise findings concisely
- Proactive approach to work
