The Company
An international engineering technology company who provide sensory equipment for major European transport organisations. Their products are in use in over 70 countries and in every continent around the globe.
The Role
Upon joining this global company, you will become an Operations Coordinator in which you will ensure the effective supply of niche products to a multitude of clients across the world. You will have a high level of responsibility from the get-go and learn about the wider business process in a fast paced environment.
Working within Operations, you will quickly learn about the wider workings of the business as you liaise with various teams to fulfil client orders. On a day-to-day, you will be preparing quotations as well as processing orders and returns, all whilst maintaining the highest levels of customer service.
You will get the opportunity to develop not only your commercial acumen but also develop specialist technical knowledge within this sector. Your progression will could lead you to the role of Operations Manager or to explore other opportunities within the wider business.
Whilst experience isn't necessary as in-depth training will be given, strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude are essential. You must be up for a challenge whilst remaining organised and pro-active; this job is far from mundane!
The office is based just outside of Guildford with fantastic links by rail to London. There is also plenty of on-site parking for staff.
Requirements:
- 2:2 degree or above in a business-related or STEM subject.
- Be able to start early June.
- Eye for detail and accuracy.
- Can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
- An interest in pursuing a career within operations.
