Operations and Logistics Graduate Leadership Scheme
This 18-month graduate scheme aims to give you a broad understanding of the company, leading to a management or specialist route as you progress in your career.
You will start with an in depth, three-month induction, learning about all aspects of the business. This will include supply chain, logistics, marketing, corporate affairs and finance. You will also get to spend time with the sales team and shadowing them in the field, in order to understand the end-to-end product supply chain.
You will then embark on three rotations within their national distribution centre, each lasting five months. These will be tailored to you and dependent on business need but are likely to be in the following departments:
Technical operations - ensures the distribution centre runs effectively at all times by enhancing and supporting the warehouse management systems and automated machinery.
Customer services - an integral part of UK distribution, working closely with other teams and functions to service the needs of external customers and internal departments.
Logistics - manages pivotal processes relating to the movement of stock, getting products to wholesalers, retailers and consumers.
You will present to senior managers after each rotation, allowing you to showcase how well you are developing and equally identifying areas where you might benefit from support.
