This role will give you the opportunity to explore and develop your interest in IT; starting in the world of 1st line support, and seeing you gain a fundamental understanding of technical issues and systems in use. You will then have the opportunity to explore multiple areas of IT within the business, whether that's the multiple lines of support, the more hands-off business side, or back end systems and development.
We are looking for an individual that has a passion for all things IT to join the 20 strong IT team, based out of the Hertfordshire office.
Initial day to day responsibilities would include:
- Hardware support across a range of devices; laptops, phones, dongles, desktops etc
- Microsoft Office support
- Email and general desktop trouble shooting
After 6-9 months in the Support Team, the opportunities to develop into other areas of IT are abundant. This role will constantly challenge you to come up with innovative and logical solutions to problems that will change every day. This role will definitely keep you on your toes!

Requirements:
- A 2:1 or above in a computer related degree (Maths, Physics etc will also be considered)
- Demonstrable passion for IT
- Ability to keep calm in stressful situations
- Able to convey ideas clearly
- Drive to be a productive member of the team as well as working independently
- Desire to learn
- Strong organisational skills and a logical thought process
Desired skills:
- Experience with at least one programming language
- Experience with Databases and servers
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of, and experience in, computer hardware
