Company
Established in 1996 and with a current turnover of £6m, this forward thinking food and drinks refreshments business are looking to double in the next five years.
As well as providing a great service for their clients, they are passionate about ethical sourcing, environmental responsibility and community investment. In addition to sponsorship of local sports teams, they allocate a portion of their profits to Macmillan Cancer Support, Teenage Cancer Trust, Oxfordshire Animal Sanctuary and the local homeless shelter.
Role
- This is a new business focused role. You are looking to get leads, chase leads, get meetings which you go on with senior sales execs.
- Once you are up and running it can evolve more into 70% new business and 30% account management.
- The role is a mix of office based phone sales and field based sales consultations. Mondays and Wednesdays are phone days, Tuesdays and Thursdays are meeting days, and Fridays depend on workload and pipeline.
- Training; they have a six-month training schedule for graduates. Generally anyone who joins in sales will get 4-12 weeks training at the beginning.
- Progression to business development manager in around 6-9 months in which you will be responsible for the full 360 degree sales cycles.
The salary is £24.5K + £4,800 pa car allowance + commission + expenses. The first year OTE is at least £34,500.
Requirements
- Degree educated.
- Driving license.
- Living within or happy to relocate to a commutable distance to Oxford.
- Experience in a sales driven environment.
- Ambition to develop your career in a growing business.
