The Company
A dedicated sustainable events company, covering biofuels markets, carbon markets, renewable energy and corporate climate response. They work across the globe and recent events include Brussels, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Budapest, New York, Sao Paolo, Cape Town, Singapore and Chicago.
Despite the pandemic, they have had a successful year and with at least 13 planned live events, its going to be a very successful time for this event company.
The Role
This is role sits within the delegate sales team and is a core part of helping grow the business. You will be working on around 8-10 international conferences a year. You will be responsible for account management past delegates as well as generating own leads. Key responsibilities include:
- Follow up on inbound leads and convert to sales
- Building relationships with international clients
- Manage key account and multi-buyers and really building a solid relationship
- Research new contact and sales leads and convert to sales
- Build, operate and maintain a sales database
- Opportunities to travel to the events. Destinations include Europe, Dubai and America
Please note- this is a telephone based role, you must be comfortable speaking on the phone
Requirements
- Positive and confident attitude
- Desire to work in sales and working towards sales targets
- Commercial experience would be desirable (this could be in sales, recruitment or any customer facing experience)
- Educated to degree level with a 2:2 or above (or equivalent)
