The Role
This firm are seeking top-rate graduates to help them fulfil their mission of developing a world-class centre of technical excellence in the utility and industrial sectors, based in the Southwest.
They are currently looking to recruit a high quality numerate graduate to join their environmental modelling team.
The successful candidate will work in a thriving team offering innovative solutions to their clients in the areas of environmental modelling and environmental evidence and data, primarily in the water industry. The exact nature of the work would depend on the projects you are involved in but is likely to involve:
- Supporting the water industry in assessing their impacts on water quality and in the development of future investment plans.
- Water Quality modelling using water industry and in-house modelling packages.
- Compiling and assessing data and other information, either directly from our clients, from other EU Member States, or through literature and other searches.
- Data processing, analysis and interpretation in GIS, databases or spread sheets.
- Development of tools to automate analysis and other workflows.

Essential
- Degree in Environmental Science or related Engineering discipline.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make recommendations.
- Ability to work in challenging situations, possess a "can do" attitude, able to devise new approaches to problems encountered
- Strong GIS skills with ESRI ArcGIS Desktop.
- Must be able to start work in the next month.
