A start up events company that specialise in connecting senior level executives and industry leaders across the intellectual property and data sector to help drive business growth.
Culture is extremely important to this company and something they pride themselves on. They have hired 4 graduates back in the summer and are looking to hire another 3 graduates now. They are a driven, hard-working environment with a fantastic social culture (lunches, Friday drinks and other team events).
Role
This is a super exciting time to join as you can make a real impact to the growth and direction of the business. You will be attending events and have the opportunity to travel to places like Europe and America.
You will mainly be responsible for driving sales and selling the benefits of the company's networking events.
Day to day you will be:
- Researching senior level executives on LinkedIn that meet the assigned brief
- Reaching out to delegates over the phone and email to build relationships and win new business
- Attending client meetings
- Attending virtual and in person events and conferences
- They are a mix of both working from the office and working from home
- There will be plenty of opportunities for development and progression as they have an excellent in-house training program to help you learn everything from the fundamentals of sales to becoming an expert in the events industry
Requirements
- Desire to work in sales
- Strong communication skills
- Evidence of over-achieving outside of academics (this can be through sport, extra-curriculars, volunteering, work, etc)
- MUST be available to start immediately (January or February)
