A global business and market leader in the UK office products industry, currently experiencing impressive year on year growth. They create and distribute products on a B2B basis.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, you will primarily be responsible for successful project management of the New Product Development process, acting as the owner of this process and enabling any delivery of products, on time and in full, prior to any launch.
Key responsibilities:
- Attend briefing on new products; identify product vision
- Ensure merchandising is effective
- Create product packaging content; copy, photos, specs
- Organise product ordering quantities based on previous sales
- Help with the marketing and promotion of products
- Awareness of competitor activity
- Liaise across the business with many different departments
- Eventually manage entire process from start to finish
Essential skills:
- Confident communicator
- Must be within commuting distance of western Kent
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
- Equally creative and analytical
- Good at building business relationships internally and externally with partners and suppliers
- Ideally had some exposure to offline marketing
