What will you be doing?
The role of a Graduate Quantity Surveyor is a great opportunity for a graduate who is looking for a commercial role in Procurement. The role will require an individual to ensure that the company's exposure to commercial risk is managed during the execution of projects and maintenance activities at our manufacturing site.
- Monitor monthly spend and budgets of main contractors
- Implement and monitor KPIs against contractor performance
- Provide support to the procurement teams, in preparing structured tender documents for turnarounds, projects, frameworks and term contracts
- Work closely with the engineering teams to accurately forecast and develop budgets
- Oversee or manage risk registers for turnarounds, term service contracts, projects and framework agreements
What are we looking for?
- Relevant degree
- Good communications skills, both verbal and written with the ability to influence and persuade others
- Strong presentation skills, both in design and delivery
- A working knowledge of Excel
