About Benjamin UK
- We provide 24-hour wrap around and fully integrated evidence-based therapeutic residential care
- We support young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties
- We support young people experiencing mental health problems
Therapeutic residential workers are required to:
- Support young people to make a positive change in their lives
- Help promote a stimulating, caring and culturally appropriate environment
- To provide practical and emotional support to young people under the guidance of the Management team.
- Work closely with young people, their families and professionals according to programmes and plans that has been implemented.
- Promote positive working relationships with individual young people, their families and professional colleagues
Requirements
- Degree in Criminology, Psychology, Social Sciences or related discipline
- An understanding of human behaviour and the impact of trauma
- Ability to work on a rota basis, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- A desire to succeed
- Full clean driving licence held for at least 1 year
This role is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure from the DBS and references
