An exciting new startup focusing on cyber security is looking ready for their next growth phase. Standing at 50 strong they have impressive plans for the upcoming year.
Despite their relative youth, their products are already being used by large organisations with tens of thousands of employees across sectors including banking, insurance, media, telco, law and government.
The Role
Multiple roles available. Start dates available throughout 2019. (Jan-Dec) - Early applications are welcomed).
As a software engineer within this firm you will be involved in developing cyber security products which combine electronic hardware, firmware and software to provide an exceptional and unrivalled combination of security, usability and performance.
You will be joining a knowledgeable, passionate and motivated team who are looking to drive the clients products forwards and develop their products further to provide solutions to some of the most technically challenging security problems in today's society.
You will be involved in developing software across all of the client's platforms and creating new products and capabilities.
Duties will be varied and include:
- Core product software development.
- Integration, test and sustainment.
- Engineering improvement.
- New product development and product innovation.
Requirements
- You will be studying towards a degree in a relevant Engineering, IT, Maths or Science Subject.
- You will have knowledge of core computer science subjects such as concurrency, networking, performance and algorithms.
- You will have knowledge of multiple programming languages ( including exposure to C and C++).
In addition to the above; importantly you will have the desire and drive to learn about and get involved in a range of development activities including:
- Systems software development Embedded Linux.
- Android App and Android native ( C++) software development.
- Web Browser development and customisation.
- Desktop and Mobile App development.
- Python web services and Rest API's.
