A truly global firm who are a market leader in providing high performance solutions for electronic trading, position and risk management, pricing and order management.
This position will see you support users around the world across software and hardware. It is a technical position and will involve investigations, tracking incidents and communicating with clients.
You will be carrying out systems checks, identifying problems and closely working with other departments to deliver an award winning service to clients. Working in support there is a rota for occasional weekend and out-of-hours work.
The role will start fully remote, and office working will phase in when restrictions start to be lifted.
Essential Skills
- Hold an IT, numerate or business related degree or equivalent experience
- Have an enquiring mind with an analytical and proactive approach to problem solving, even when under pressure
- Ability to read and understand code in one or more of the following: C++, TCL, UNIX Scripting
- Service desk analysts need to be dynamic, resilient, objective, delivering rapid and accurate solutions to the incidents raised by customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A confident and professional manner
- Able to manage own time and a changing workload
- Co-operative approach to working with team members and other departments
