A music technology company. Based in the heart of London, the client specialises in web technologies and complex metadata solutions, they offer their services to many blue chip clients within the media industry, looking at the way we disrupt this industry using technology.
You will be responsible for supporting and growing all of the technical infrastructure, from data centre through to desktop. This offers a great opportunity to develop your experience and hands-on skills.
Responsibilities:
Guaranteeing the smooth running of all systems, including anti-virus software, patches and networking equipment
-Providing secure access to the network for remote users.
-Scheduling and managing upgrades and backups of hardware and software systems
-Ensuring back-up systems operate effectively.
-Researching and installing new systems
-Purchasing hardware and software
-Implementing improvement plans to meet the company?s information security management system policies and controls
-Managing crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems
-Offering internal staff users appropriate support and advice
-Mentoring and training a small team (systems engineer and database administrator)
-keeping up to date with the latest technologies that are relevant to the company?s operational needs
-Linux (UbuntuCentOS) administration and troubleshooting ?
-Windows 7102008 R22012 R22016 administration and troubleshooting
-IP routing and switching
-Network monitoring and management
