The company is an innovative developer of claims management, document management and workflow software solutions for the global insurance and financial services markets. They have established themselves as the provider of leading edge document management and workflow solutions. Their is well established in the UK and their software is widely used in the City of London by a number of prestigious clients within the insurance space.
They are currently recruiting for an experienced project manager to join their growing team. This role will involve hand-on, end to end project management and the successful candidate will be in charge of the delivery of IT implementation projects for our various clients.
Responsibilities:
-Manage and coordinate multiple projects and pieces of work simultaneously and provide project status reports to key stakeholders as required.
-Run workshops to investigate user requirements and complex problems or issues.
-Liaise with the technical teams to ensure that the deliverables are met in accordance with project timescales.
-Coordinate with business analysts and account managers to ensure user requirements are gathered and prioritised.
-Coordinate with business analysts and trainers to ensure that the appropriate level of training is offered when required.
-Maintain a close relationship with end users and build a comprehensive understanding of business processes and business terminology.
-Manage and mitigate project risks.
Requirements
- 3-5 year's experience in managing IT implementation projects.
- Ability to produce high quality project documentation.
- Prince II.
Desirable
- Knowledge of software as a service and the insurance domain.
- Confidence and experience interacting with senior audiences (this is a highly customer facing role).
- Self motivated outgoing individual with a high level of initiative.
- Willingness to travel (within London).
