Their engineers are technical masterminds. The department encompasses several key areas, facilitation of millions of sports bets, to bespoke promotion engines and comprehensive CRM solutions. They're technology and platform agnostic and ensure they always have the best tools to build, release and manage applications, including but not limited to Node.js, .NET Core, ReactJS, webpack, Bitbucket, Git, VSTS, Azure, Docker and Kubernetes. Their engineers are one of their most important assets, so they're provided with the best hardware, the right software, and the freedom to innovate so that no task is insurmountable!
Purpose of the role:
The Web Developer works as part of a self-organising Scrum team with varying skillsets, such as UX UI Design, QA Testing and Web Development. The Web Developer works within the team using a variety of web technologies (frontend and backend), on highly visible website projects, to deliver a cutting-edge gaming experience to users.
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and planning technical solutions to meet business requirements.
- Coding and developing features for new and existing products.
- Upkeep and maintenance of existing products.
- Taking part in Scrum rituals such as stand-ups, planning sessions, demos and retrospectives.
- Taking part in team activities such as collaborative-development and code-reviews.
- Taking part in cross-team activities such as knowledge-sharing and documentation.
It would be a bonus if you have:
- Experience with popular JavaScript frameworks (e.g. React)
- Experience with CSS pre-processing frameworks (e.g. Sass)
- Experience with source control systems (e.g. Git)
- Experience with frontend build tools (e.g. Grunt Gulp)
- Experience with frontend dependency management (e.g. NPM Bower)
- Experience with C# Web Development with .NET 3.5 or higher
- Experience with a popular CMS (e.g. Umbraco)
- Agile Scrum experience
- Unit testing experience
- A degree or equivalent-level qualification
