The Company
They provide innovative, cost effective and clinically safe solutions to various NHS organisations. It is an exciting new solution designed to help NHS hospitals produce high quality clinical correspondence and deliver them to patients, GPs and other healthcare professionals in a timely and cost effective manner.
The Role
- To identify, gather, analyse and communicate business requirements to ensure that high-quality solutions can be developed which meet the client's business needs
- Document the solution scope including objectives and benefit expectations
- Write user stories and epics to help develop prioritised requirements and product road maps
- Function as a liaison and subject matter expert between the sales and implementation consultants and the IT resources
- Contribute to estimating the size of tasks with developers and testers using a suitable agile technique such as story pointing
- Leading and influencing prioritisation and ensuring adherence to scope and client need
- Work with the QA team to provide acceptance criteria for business objectives, support for developing tests and to assist in 'hands on' quality assurance
- Working with developers to manage defects through to closure by retesting when defects are allocated back to system test
- Developing expert knowledge of the products and provide training to other areas of the business (i.e. Support desk)
About You
- You will have experience working as a Business Analyst and are looking for your next step in your career
- Demonstrated experience writing user story based requirements for bespoke software applications in an Agile development environment
- Demonstrated experience of working with developers throughout the software development cycle from requirement definition to acceptance testing
- A track record of working on bespoke software development projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using issue tracking and collaboration products i.e. JIRA, confluence
