Luxury retail department store in London, known for it's extravagance in both clothing and home furnishing where the latest fashions sit alongside design classics. Over the last few years data has become increasingly more central in driving this recognised brand forward, and with the strategic plans in place in the near future there are no signs of this stopping.
The Role
This newly created, centralised analytics function will act as the bridge between the business and data. It will require analysts to work as internal consultants with stakeholders across CRM and marketing, sales, buying and merchandising, logistics and supply chain, which inevitably adds incredible variety to the role.
Your projects will vary from analysing the best way to plan a CRM campaign to analysing customer mix to store operations projects requiring the analysis of WiFi data.
With future growth predicted in the not too distance future the headcount in this function is likely to increase quickly, acting as a great platform for an experienced analyst looking to take that next step in their career.
Day to day languages used in the role include; R, SQL, Tableau, Excel.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency with SQL and Excel.
- Ability to work cross functionally.
- Excellent academic grounding; quantitative degree from a reputable university.
- Good commercial acumen.
- A proven desire to learn R or Python (through online courses, MSc, etc.).
