Based in West Sussex, they are the UK's leading sports retailer. Currently looking to grow their digital marketing team they offer ongoing training from industry experts and organic tailored progression.
The Role
This is a brand new role, created with the purpose of providing dedicated resource to understanding customers.
Within the role you would use SQL and Excel on a daily basis, analysing which channels are driving revenue, and developing a cross channel view, building dashboards and linking online and offline data.
You will perform segmentation analysis of customer data, something that the organisation want to automate and build out onto their websites.
This is an ad-hoc project role with minimal BAU work and projects could even be around analysis of store performance and understanding contributing factors.
As the sole Customer Insight Analyst, you will play a pivotal part in defining approaches to new problems, with free reign over online and offline data, allowing you to build your role as you see fit.
Essential skills for the role to include:
- experience writing queries and creating database objects using SQL
- experience automating reports using various data sources
- strong MS Excel including Macros
- ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
- good attention to detail
