They are listed on the London Stock Exchange and globally renowned for their financial software products. Their applications are sold in all of the world's major financial centres to top-tier investment banks.
The Role
- Assign test development and execution tasks amongst the team.
- Assess team workload against capacity, pushing back or soliciting additional workload as necessary.

- The design and development of complex and innovative software solutions.
- Propose and assist in design of testing solutions.
- Ensure the day-to-day quality of testing and development activities.
- Monitor and report on development and testing progress to QA Manager, flagging significant issues in good time.
- Written reports delivered on a regular basis, with some ad hoc reporting as necessary.
- Assist with recruitment process.
- Assist with line management duties and annual appraisals of team members.
Requirements
- Experience of object oriented programming.
- Experience of using source code control software.
- Experience of requirements based and functional testing.
- Evidence of managing effective communication between implementation and development teams.
- Experience of SQL based databases and Windows productivity tools beneficial.
- Calmness under pressure and ability to maintain good humour.
