GRB Affiliates student job is the starting point of the GRB Student Brand Manager (SBM) programme - one of the UKs leading on campus marketing campaigns.
Working for GRB!
Our SBMs are a leading force of students working for us at a large selection of universities across the UK spreading the word about our free graduate recruitment service. Working for GRB has many benefits to boost your CV. From just earning a bit of cash around their studies through to gaining essential experience to impress future employers, this role has it all!
PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST FIRST HAVE AN ACCOUNT AND BE LOGGED-IN TO APPLY
Who Do We Look For?
Anyone can be a GRB Affiliate although you need to be a current student studying at one of the 50 universities we are currently hiring at. You could however be representing a society to earn funding, a student company that has access to a pool to students, a course representative looking to fund a class trip - basically anyone that has access to students that wants to earn money and help people find jobs!
So What Is It?
As a GRB Affiliate you encourage fellow students to sign up with to GRB by either getting them to register on your online form or via a printable form and we pay you per person that signs-up - simple!
You can achieve this using any marketing method you see fit and in your own time doing it as seriously or as casually as you like. We can provide you with loads of information, guides, hints and tips and advice on what has worked well in the past such as communicating with departments, student unions, societies, Facebook...the channels to market are endless.
In addition to getting paid to register fellow students all year round we also offer work at Career and Fresher Fair events when we come to your campus and have a stand. This is by no means compulsory - but very popular as it pays well and it's good fun.
How Much Work Is Involved?
Well that's up to you - you're the boss! The great thing about starting out as a GRB Affiliate is you can get involved as much or a little as you like. For example, in the next 10 minutes, you could have already began earning money referring your friends. Just set yourself up as an Affiliate by clicking below, we'll create and give you the link to your unique registration form to direct people to and you can simply post it with a short advert in an email to your friends or on your Facebook wall. They see the email/post, read about the benefits we can offer them and register.
So does it stop there?
Well sure, if you like you can recommend your friends to us right now as a one off and we'll pay you for whoever registers - or you can carry on - and the sky's the limit! If you want to take on this role seriously we can update your status to a Student Brand Manager. Throughout your time at university you can work your way up through our eight-stages of badges from "Newbie" up to "Royalty" - a great and notable achievement for your CV that gives you access to our optional Chartered Institute of Marketing Career Development Award (but more on that later).
How Do I Know How Many People I Have Registered?
In your Dashboard a new widget will appear that provides you with detailed stats on sign-ups by course, university and year. Using this information you can immediately see the impact of a campaign and learn what works and what doesn't.
How Much Do You Pay Per Sign-Up?
We pay the highest per referral fee compared to other Affiliate schemes on campus. If you register...
£1.25 Final year undergraduate or graduate
75p Penultimate year undergraduate
50p First year undergraduate
Added bonuses include:
+ If you get over 100 sign-ups in a month we pay you a 10% extra bonus on your total
+ £25 bonus to the top Affiliate in the country (the most sign-ups) each month
+ Various other bonuses throughout the year which we alert you of
+ Work at Career or Fresher Fairs will be paid on an hourly basis plus a generous bonus
How Do You Get Paid?
Paypal. It's the simplest, safest and most efficient way to send money to you. You will of course need a PayPal account set up but you can do this anytime. Once you are owed money, at the end of the month a request will be sent from us with the total amount we are paying you. All you need to do then is set up a free account to receive it and then every payment in the future will be automatically processed.
Charted Institute of Marketing Career Development Award
Our Student Brand Manager scheme is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, meaning if you prove yourself as an Affiliate by reaching the minimum badge of "Established" (51-100 sign ups) we can let you work towards an additional marketing qualification for your CV.
