Due to organic growth and continued expansion, our client is looking for two graduates to work within the engineering team along with other professional engineers and experienced managers.
The emphasis of the scheme is firmly on learning, professional development and the attainment of Chartership. As an engineering graduate, you will be expected to work and produce results for real life projects.
If successful, you will work in a range of engineering disciplines, from design to development and test through to production and manufacture. Initial placements will be project based that will last from four to six months. Some project placements may be based overseas or incorporate a level of travel as this company has three manufacturing sites globally.
Examples of some of the projects you will get involved in are:
- Improving the design of a particular component
- Process improvement of a manufacturing area
- Working in a team on an advanced design concept for a new application
- Researching a new manufacturing method and making recommendations for implementation
- Design of new systems and components
- Planning and project managing test programmes
- Implementing a system for the global engineering team
A full range of training courses will be available as part of the development plan.
The successful graduate will be a good team worker yet have the ability to work on their own initiative to solve problems and prioritise their own workload to meet targets.
The company has an excellent investment and growth profile and the successful individual will be joining the company at an exciting time in their development.
The ideal candidate will have a Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering degree.
