Our client is embarking on a far-reaching change programme in procurement and supply chain management and need several dynamic graduates to join them.
You'll be trained and developed by the leading experts in the field and you'll learn how to drive change and negotiate multi-million pound contracts.
The scope of the job is:
- To implement and maintain the catalogue content of materials master data within SAP
- To respond to internal stakeholder requests, updating and improving the quality of materials data content for improved purchase order or commercial expenditure visibility requirements
As part of the role you will:
- Be responsible for the effective implementation of materials master data onto SAP
- Provide input into the MM management processes, applying processes consistently and to set standards
- Be responsible for applying business unit process systems and governance standards, and implementing the agreed operational system coding and strategy
- Engage with all parts of the business, working within specialist teams or with key individuals to determine and implement opportunities within the supply base that will enhance business offering
- Support the Materials Manager to ensure the material master data initiative meets and exceeds its key milestones and targets
Applicants must hold a 2:1 or above in Business, Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or similar.
Candidates should have a clean, current UK driving licence.
Applicants need to be available for an immediate start.
You also need to have:
- A basic understanding of procurement process
- Excellent IT skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS outlook, Excel and Word
- Experience of materials master data
