About the roles:

We’re pulling out all the stops at THORPE PARK, as another adrenaline-charged year tears towards us. And with the opening of THE SWARM – the UK’s first death-defying winged rollercoaster – we’re expecting hordes of customers looking for more extreme thrills than ever before. That means loads of exciting job opportunities for all types of people. From Rides & Attractions to Food & Beverage, or from Retail, Sales & Admissions to roles in Park Cleaning, Waste Management, Medical, Entertainments or our Warehouse – whatever you’re looking for, whether you want to bring the fun factor or the fear factor, we’re bound to have something to suit. We’re open from March to November and, as ever, you can choose to join us at peak season or, this year, we’re particularly keen to hear from people who’d like to join us on a more long-term basis.

Who we’re looking for:

It could be that you’ve worked in a customer service role before, but far more important than any experience you have will be the personal qualities you bring. We’re looking for bright, bubbly, hard-working people with bags of personality and heaps of initiative. Warm, friendly, helpful individuals who’ll go out of their way to make sure our guests have a fantastic day out. And as long as you’re up for the extreme and not afraid of hard work, you’ll find fun is part of the job description.

What you’ll get:

Join the team here at THORPE PARK and you’ll reap the rewards that come with working for Merlin Entertainments Group, the world’s number two visitor attraction operator. As well as a competitive rate of pay (from £6.10 per hour and upwards depending on your role), your Merlin Magic pass will give you free admission to all of our attractions, including Alton Towers Resort, Warwick Castle, The EDF Energy London Eye, Chessington World of Adventures Resort and Madame Tussauds. Perhaps the best thing about working here however, is the atmosphere across the Park. Everyone at THORPE PARK is here to have fun and that includes the people who work with us.

A bit more about us:

As THE Nation’s Thrill Capital, THORPE PARK is the place to get your adrenaline pumping in 2012. Guests can experience the UK’s most thrilling Theme Park as they’re thrown, spun, swung and soaked on some of Europe’s most extreme rides. New for Spring 2012 is THE SWARM – the UK’s first death-defying, gut-wrenching winged rollercoaster –– and it’s this, along with SAW – The Ride, the world’s most terrifying rollercoaster, Storm Surge, the ultimate sky-high spinning water ride, and the ‘Unholy Trinity’ of Stealth, Colossus and Nemesis Inferno that make us such a magnet for visitors year after year – and we plan to keep it that way! As part of Merlin Entertainments Group, we invest heavily both in our facilities and in our people, ensuring we are right up there with the world's best leisure providers.
