This is a highly innovative campaign which seeks to engage members of the public in the work of various charities.
This is the only street campaign that requires individuals to give no personal contact, bank or address details but merely asks them to text a number registering their interest and making a one off donation of £1.00.
You simply approach the member of the public armed with a palmtop computer which gives brief details on a range of charities. Each charity has a unique number which, if texted, will register the individual's interest. You will ask the individual if they would like to find out more about any of the charities represented and if so, ask them to send a text to the relevant charity's unique number. All future follow up with the individual is then handled by a separate team of office based individuals.
You should be confident, articulate, be a real team player and be seeking long term work – Full time hours are 5 days between Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm working within London Zones 1 and 6
