The Professional Fundraiser is a door-to-door fundraising agency working on behalf of Cats Protection, the UK's leading feline welfare charity helping more than 230,000 cats and kittens every year; their vision is for a world where every cat is treated with kindness and an understanding of its needs.
Joining one of our fund-raising teams you will work door-to-door local to where you live, and in an unhurried and sensitive manner engage with members of the public about the Charity's cause, offering the person the opportunity to make a monthly donation to the charity for many years to come.
Our flexible working hours combined with the drive and energy required to perform in this job role make it an ideal student job, either on a part time basis while studying or on a full time basis during the Summer holiday period.
We offer a starting salary of £6.50 per hour, and with a bonus for every donor you recruit for the Charity above our minimum performance level (6 donors per week), you can realistically expect to achieve earnings of c. £350 per week.
Additional benefits to your pay and statutory holiday entitlement include your birthday off paid, a Christmas shopping day, flexible working, and bicycle vouchers among others.
We currently have a mix of full time and part time positions available, with shifts between 3pm and 9pm Monday to Friday and 11am and 5pm on Saturdays. Evening work until 9pm is compulsory for this job role.
We welcome applicants of all ages and from all walks of life. No previous experience is necessary for this type of job role but you should have a mature and responsible approach, excellent communication skills, passion for cats and kittens, and have a resilient nature able to handle rejection from donors not wishing to donate.
