Who collects this information?
All data collection and storage is done in-house by the Graduate Recruitment Bureau. We collect personal information from you through the use of enquiry, CVs, online registration forms and every time you e-mail your details to us. We are independently owned meaning it is not shared with a parent company and businesses associated with it.

How is my information stored?
The data you provide us with is stored on a secure database server and can only be accessed via a coded user ID and password system.

Security
This site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.

With whom is my information shared?
We do not sell, rent, share, trade or give away any of your personal information to any third parties unrelated to graduate recruitment. Graduate employers who are clients of the GRB will have access to your details as a prospective employer. Depending on our service a client will have access to your details and may contact you by phone, post or e-mail directly OR ask us to contact you. In this case we will approach you for consent before your details are released. Finally, none of your information can be viewed by other registered candidates We also use information in aggregate form (so that no individual user is identified):

  • To build up marketing profiles
  • To aid strategic development
  • To manage our relationship with advertisers
  • To audit usage of the site

Making changes to your data
You can revise any information you have provided to GRB or request to be removed from our database by contacting us on 01273 325775 or by info@grb.uk.com.

How will you communicate to me?
Before we put your forward for a position we need your permission, therefore, we will either call or e-mail you with details of jobs and let you decide. We may also e-mail a general newsletter from time with useful careers and jobs information which you can opt-out of at any time.

How do we let you know if our policy changes?
Any policy changes, either due to business reasons or future changes in legislation, will be posted on this page and, if substantial, may be promoted on the website or through e-mail notification.

Jobs by e-mail service
The jobs by e-mail service matches a job seekers requirements for employment with the profile of vacancies advertised on our site. For job seekers who subscribe to this service you receive an e-mail detailing the company and the role that we believe you should be interested in. Your requirements are defined by all your details on our database from your online application form and/or CV. You can change your details at any time or unsubscribe at any time.

Background Checks
Before making a job offer our clients may request a background check that covers your employment history, references, educational qualifications etc.

E-newsletter
Each month we e-mail you a newsletter with general information on graduate recruitment, advice, tips and help. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Opting out of the Graduate Recruitment Bureau services
