Graduates Sought By Holiday Firm

A total of 10 lucky graduates are to be given the chance to experience working for a holiday firm.

TUI UK and Ireland (TUI UK), parent company of holiday firms Thomson and First Choice, is looking to take on 10 university leavers on a graduate leadership programme.

The graduates will spend time in the airline, customer and commercial divisions, along with the distribution department, as part of the scheme.

It is the first graduate programme to be run by the group since Thomson and First Choice merged three years ago.

David Burling, commercial director for TUI UK, joined the group as a Thompson graduate 20 years ago.

He said spending time overseas and in different parts of the business had given him the opportunity to "get to grips" with the firm.
