Qualification Requirements for Graduates applying to ICI
For most positions ICI will consider candidates regardless of degree subject, as long as you achieve or are expected to achieve at least a 2:1 in the UK, or an equivalent result in Continental Europe, the USA and Asia.
However, each opportunity is subject to its own specific academic requirements which you must meet if you are to be considered. It is therefore imperative that you check your suitability against the specific vacancy you are interested in.
For example: opportunities in Engineering may require you to have an engineering background, preferably in chemical, mechanical process or manufacturing engineering; and for some opportunities in our Research and Development function you will need a chemistry or polymer science degree, in addition a relevant PhD is often desirable, but not essential.
