Job Title: Work for us! Recruitment Research Assistant

The Graduate Recruitment Bureau (GRB) is an expanding specialist recruitment consultancy based in Brighton. As our name suggests we specialise in placing graduates across a range of industries and vertical markets across the UK. We have become extremely successful in this sector with our web site attracting 80,000 unique visits every month and a candidate database of over 400,000. The consultants have developed expertise in their relevant markets and with a large candidate database have a strong supply of candidates for their clients.

The GRB is looking for a Researcher for our Experienced Hire Division. The role will involve supporting the Consultants in placing analytical professionals with their clients and to help the Consultants with a variety of administrative tasks. The role will give the successful candidate a broad exposure to recruitment and will progress to a consultancy position in the longer term. This is a chance to join a growing team and will command plenty of personal responsibility.

Activities include:

Administration
- Arranging interviews on behalf of clients and candidates.
- Preparing CV's to be sent to companies.
- Uploading candidate details and CV's to GRB's database or to client's bespoke candidate tracking systems.
- Candidate database maintenance.

Research
- Mapping company markets and understanding which companies are involved in specific sectors and who are their decision makers. This will involve looking at company web sites, job boards and Linked In.
- Researching across different departments of large businesses to establish knowledge and potential target sectors
- Other ad hoc research projects

Candidates
-Sourcing new candidates from GRB database with a target of finding 25 new CV's per week
-Sourcing CV's from external jobs boards to pass to Consultants.

Ideally we are looking for graduates who have office-based work experience in areas such as sales, market research, office management or other project-based and consulting roles. Essentially we need those who appreciate working to deadlines and in a fast-moving organisation such as ours. You must be interested in recruitment consulting and be looking to move up to a Consultant role in the future.
