Job Title: VerseOne Junior Developer

About You

We are currently looking to recruit interns to assist with our growth. Operating as part of a dynamic team, the role will expose you to all areas of the business. By nature you will need to be a self-starter, well organised, and focused on delivery, with customer satisfaction the primary goal. You should ideally possess the following attributes, skills and experience:

- You should be intuitive and display a creative and independent mindset, whilst enjoying working as part of a team.
- You should have knowledge of relational databases (one of MySQL, SQLServerOracle).
- Experience of developing web services, testing websites and web development.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Communication skills - to be able to discuss requirements with clients
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Exposure to e-commerce development

Highly Desirable

- Server-side language (one of Coldfusion 8/9, PHP, ASP, Java/J2EE, Ruby, 
- Python) and web server administration e.g. IIS.
- Working knowledge of how a web design would be delivered in XHTML, CSS, Javascript and jQuery.
- Working knowledge of web standards and Web Accessibility to be put into practice when creating websites and web applications.
- Development experience/knowledge, particularly object-oriented programming.
- Implementation and configuration of websites within Windows (IIS 6/7) and UNIX (Apache 2+) environments
- Knowledge of content management systems.
- Knowledge of coding for search engine optimisation (SEO).
