Overview...
Information Management (IM) supports the wide range of technology, communication and information we need to make informed and timely decisions. Responsible for supplying over 30,000 internal users with applications, networks and hardware solutions, IM also serves customers directly through the Underground WiFi service, bus stop arrival countdowns (iBus), and online Journey Planner data.

A technical background isn't essential but you must have a 2:1 honours degree (or higher). It can be any discipline, although IT, business management and project management are particularly welcome. We'd also like to hear from graduates with degrees in technical subjects, arts, sciences and engineering.
We're looking for candidates who can also:
•Work on site when necessary
•Look at technology from a strictly business perspective
•Demonstrate high standards of written and verbal communication
•Show good analytical, problem solving and inductive reasoning (ability to deal with ambiguous data) skills
•Embrace change
•Collaborate with colleagues, share your information, knowledge and skills
•Focus strongly on internal and external customers
•Show a commitment to equailty, diversity and inclusion
•Work on their own initiative, seeking out new opportunities for learning, career progression and challenges
•Identify project goals and work towards them
•Demonstrate a structured and methodical approach to tasks, identifying priorities and setting deadlines
Applying...
We can only accept one application per candidate, so please think carefully about which scheme is right for you before submitting. It will not be possible to transfer your application to a different scheme.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, but we recommend applying early.
Joining us...
IM uses the best data modelling and analytics techniques to analyse trends and provide accurate information to plan for the future. For example, you could work with colleagues in our customer experience team, looking at peak flow data in Underground stations during major events, like music festivals, to analyse and inform operational plans, and to help reduce overcrowding.
You will gain a comprehensive overview of IM in your first year working on a rotational basis within a variety of IM teams. The second year provides an opportunity for self-directed development. Based on discussions with your scheme manager, you'll be given the chance to secure your own placements in your area of speciality.
During your two years with us, you'll also benefit from gaining frontline experience which will provide valuable insight into operations across our organisation.
