Job Title: Trainee Recruitment Consultant - Future Leaders Required

A start-up recruitment business formed in 2007. They are looking to double in size year-on-year until the end of 2011 and would prefer the majority of the hires to be ambitious graduates. They are looking for future directors of the business.

The company is looking for up to four graduates with sales experience to join immediately.

With desk-based training from the team, you should be able to pick up the basics of recruitment after six weeks including cold-calling, client pitching, interviewing, lead generation and headhunting.

The company are specialists in recruiting for roles within Risk and Governance. You will work on a mixture of permanent and contract positions, largely for FTSE 100 Financial Services organisations. As their clients are huge household names (HSBC, Barclays, Deloitte, etc) they often have lots of repeat, volume business. They use a mixture of recruitment methods to find the right candidates, although the majority is done through headhunting candidates who were not already looking.

You will need to demonstrate that you have a naturally competitive nature and that you can sell. The company offers excellent commission but you will have to work hard for it and make lots of calls. As this is a business with a really ambitious growth strategy, you must also be naturally entrepreneurial and looking to progress quickly.
