Business Information Research Intern
Fixed Term Contract: 9 months

The EIC (Energy Industries Council) is seeking to appoint an Intern within the UK Business Information Department for a fixed term period of nine months. The role will be based at our London head office and you will be working as part of the team supporting our business intelligence unit.

Your main duties will involve research, analysis and report writing to produce detailed Country Overview Reports. The reports will provide an insight into the economic and business framework for each country and will focus specifically on their energy sector. You must have a disciplined approach to work and demonstrate the ability to plan, organise, perform and deliver to high standards. You must have excellent report writing skills and the ability to present information in a concise and engaging manner.

It's a given that you will have good IT skills and a working knowledge of modern standard office software packages. Whilst previous experience of the industry is not essential, you must be able to convince the EIC that you have a passion and interest for our business.

We are offering a remuneration package of £16k pro rata for the fixed term nine month contract and we believe this internship offers a good entry point for those seeking a career in the energy sector.
