Based in Hertfordshire, my client is a small but growing market research agency who work on adhoc consumer research projects for their clients.
An opportunity has arisen for a technical support assistant at my client's offices in St.Albans. The company is a small, dynamic research agency specialising in conducting on-line market research on behalf of major FMCG clients.
You will work very closely with the project managers and in addition to programming the surveys you will have responsibilities spanning all aspects of on-line research including:
-Program questionnaires into on-line surveys in industry leading software
-Assist in the day-to-day management of fieldwork
-Liaise with on-line panel providers
-Run queries on the on-line reportal tool
-Proof reading Word and PowerPoint documents
-Assisting in the charting of data in PowerPoint
The ideal candidate should also be someone that:
-Enjoys working as part of a small team
-Is not afraid to ask questions
-Takes pride in their work
-Can work under pressure when required
-Is flexible
-Possesses a full driving licence
The position is available immediately.
Experience:
Intermediate-Advanced level required:
-Microsoft PowerPoint (2007 or above preferably)
-Microsoft Excel
-Microsoft Word
Additional skills:
-Computer programming at a beginner-intermediate level
-HTML web design, Flash, Jscript or JavaScript would be a bonus
Other essential competence areas:
-The ability to pick up software packages relatively quickly
-The ability to think laterally
-Keen eye for detail
-The ability to think through a problem before coming to a solution
