This consultancy company specialises in helping its clients to harness technologies effectively and safely, to achieve radical improvements in their business through management and technical consultancy.

They focus on the application of e-business technology to provide new services, improve the effectiveness of existing business processes and to provide new delivery channels. Our client enables their customers to navigate the minefields to implement leading edge solutions safely and cost-effectively.

Their edge is their systems approach to problem solving. The company has a deep understanding of how to bring together an organisation's systems, information, processes and employees effectively. They also help their clients exploit the new opportunities that emerging information and communications technologies present.

Our client is looking for candidates with strong technical capabilities, a high degree of innovation and good commercial understanding. This role will lead you into a consulting career. The client has a number of roles available for the rest of this year and the start of 2012.

The client specialises in supporting public sector organisations as well as some private sector companies. They work in the defence sector as well as criminal justice, police, government and transport.

Their work covers a variety of disciplines from business analysis, system security and procurement support to project management, and from mathematical modelling to solution architecture. They give their staff early responsibility and whatever your level of experience you will contribute to projects and have extensive interaction with their clients. Your exact day to day duties will vary depending on your strengths and abilities, but you will be given responsibility at an early stage.

You will be a confident communicator, capable of working on your own and within a team, and be happy with a degree of travel throughout the UK for work.

One of the key attributes of their staff is their broad technical expertise combined with an acute commercial awareness. Their staff have a broad experience of technical architectures covering information, communications and security. They have extensive knowledge of e-business, Internet technologies, data warehousing and business support applications.

This role will involve travel throughout the UK to client sites.

Candidates must have a First in their undergraduate degree, or a 2.1 and have gone on to further study to PhD level and A and B grades at A-level.

Due to the nature of the client's work, candidates will undergo security clearance and therefore must hold a UK passport.
