This challenging role is in requirements planning, within the supply chain area of the business. This vital department ensures that customer service for products is met through ensuring products are always available. You will be responsible for forecasting a category of product sales over the 6 to 24 month horizon. The forecasts you produce will have an impact across the business as production plans and financial projections will all be based on your analysis.

You will have interaction with a variety of colleagues in a number of departments including marketing, finance, production and customer management (the team that works with the supermarkets). The relationships that you forge will help ensure that your demand forecast is created, maintained and evaluated accurately to support the business planning process.

As a Requirements Planner, you will be right at the heart of any new product innovation team, working with marketers, technical experts and finance to bring new innovations into the market. You will also look to the past, which is why you'll report and analyse service against KPIs and implement continuous improvement activities to repeatedly deliver against and improve on the targets set.

Requirements:

- It is essential that you've either studied a Supply Chain degree or have relevant work experience within Supply Chain
- Strong analytical skills
- Comfortable with technology and adept at picking up new software packages
- Customer focused
- Able to show a strong desire to work in Supply Chain within the FMCG sector.
