Job Title: Senior Market Researcher

Our client is one of the largest energy companies in the UK. They employ over 11,000 people, supply gas and electricity to over 5 million customers, and are a major generator. As one of the largest regulated and private networks operators in the UK they distribute electricity to over a quarter of the country's population. They are one of the few vertically integrated companies which means they manage energy from the moment it's harnessed to the second it's used with expertise in generation distribution and supply.

They offer a good salary, benefits and training based in a popular location in the south.

Our client is looking for a Senior Market Researcher to be based in either London or Sussex. The successful candidate will take on three to four large projects a quarter and one to two small projects a month. Sixty per cent of the work is quantitative and 40 per cent qualitative research. The successful candidate will be involved in big issue projects e.g. research into consumer acceptance of nuclear power.

They will also be responsible for managing the brand tracker project, which analyses the success of the client's brands and advertising that helps provide the key performance indices for the marketing department.

The successful candidate must have market research experience in quantitive and qualitative research and strong Excel skills, which include segmentation analysis. SPSS is a plus but not a necessity.
