Our client is the leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of electronic imaging solutions within the graphic communications market.

This company have a head office in Hertfordshire and a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Peterborough. Their 200 strong team is dedicated to developing technologies that make a difference to daily lives.

Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst who will perform a key role in IT Business improvement projects who will be the link between manufacturing and SAP.

This role will support the ISG manager in the scoping, planning and execution of projects including the design of Business Process procedures and the training of process owners and end-users.

The Senior Business Analyst will become the 'expert' in the management of data and the provision of supporting management information.

Principal Accountabilities:

- Turn stated business objectives into system solutions
- In conjunction with the Business Systems Manager analyse and design improvements to Business Process with a particular emphasis on optimising the use of SAP
- Develop effective working relationships with key users and process owners (sponsors)
- Hands-on work with Business Improvement teams (with a particular emphasis on Supply Chain and Manufacturing) including the management of consequent data change and the development of managementprocess information - in particular KPI's.
- Transfer knowledge of process - and revisions to process - via the development of knowledge bases, procedures and conducting user training.

Requirements:

- At least two years similar experience in a hi tech assembly manufacturing operation OR proven and demonstrable skills sufficient to meet the 'Principal Accountabilities'.
- Proven in-depth understanding of SAP particularly in the areas of Production Planning, Production Execution, MRP and Inventory Control
- Experience of designing training material and delivering training courses - both on a one-to-one basis and to small teams.
- Experience of supervising external technical resources in the maintenance and development of SAP related projects.
- Skills in the development of management information using standard SAP tools: SAP Query, Report Writers, ABAP Reports.
