My client is ranked as a top 20 Business and Information Systems consultancy in the UK. They provide services in project management, IT consulting, finacial consulting, procurement and data security. Whilst they work across finance and retail, 90% of their consulting services are for the public sector.
They are a very successful business with turnover of £60m and recently recieved the Investors In People Bronze Award.
The role initially is similar to that of a Resourcer in a recruitment agency, in that you are responsible for the attraction and identification of suitable consultants for your clientele.
Responsibilities include:
- Engaging with client personnel to ensure complete understanding of consulting requirements
- Carrying out searches on the company database, online jobs-boards and business networking sites to find suitable matches
- Placing adverts in relevant media platforms
- Carrying out face-to-face and telephone interviews with prospective consultants
- Day-to-day management of bids including the drafting and submission of proposals, supporting presentations and meeting clients
- Supporting marketing activitiesevents
- Contract management
The role carries a competitive basic salary plus a bonus element which should add another £2000-£4000 in the first year.
Candidates can progress throughout the business in a number of different routes, including business development, project management, bid management and marketing.
