Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Market Research Analyst to join their Power and Energy Group.
The Power and Energy industry continues to expand rapidly and the new Analyst will be working on reports initially within the solar and P.V. power sector. This is an exciting and technically challenging area of our business.
As a Market Analyst you will work closely with customers at every stage of a project. The role involves:
- Project management of detailed market research reports with responsibility for the entire process, including identification of needs, planning, research, analysis and occasional client presentations.
- Business development, notably telephone sales efforts to both existing and new customers.
- Significant travel (mostly international) and candidates must have a current passport and full driving license.
- Responsibility for the development of an ?area of expertise? in a technical marketplace.
The successful applicant will require the following skills:
- 2 - 3 years experience of working in a research environment
- Highly numerate and comfortable manipulating and presenting statistics in a variety of formats.
- Confident telephone manner and willingness to spend an average of an hour or two a day on the telephone to customers focusing on sales and research.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Intermediate or advanced Excel skills with experience of producing spreadsheets, graphs and tables.
