You will be responsible for managing individual assignments or modules of larger projects, working towards gaining more responsibility for larger more complex projects.
You will research industries and companies to build a picture as to the state of that specific market or organisation. The information that you need will be found in a variety of ways ? online, publications, talking to people over the phone, face to face and generally researching specific areas. It will be up to you to devise and ask intelligent questions and interpret the information you uncover to build an understanding of motivations and environments. You will then need to interpret this information and present it in the most effective and appropriate format through written reports and verbal presentations.
You will be researching everything from the sustainability of fish stocks to the luxury hotel market, from sewerage pipes to caravan parks. The work will be varied and challenging and will constantly stretch you but it also means you will have constant variety in the work you do.
Requirements:
The right person will be commercially aware and have a genuine interest in really understanding businesses and industries.
You will be independent, enjoy working to tight deadlines and deliver a high quality level of work.
