Job Title: PR Account Executive

Our client is an award winning Technology PR agency based in London.

This is an exciting position for a graduate who is interested in a career within PR and new technology. As a Trainee Account Executive you will be responsible for influencing public opinion or behaviour, on behalf of a variety of clients by generating positive news coverage and working to proactively promote the profile of clients.

Responsibilities include:

- Drafting press releases
- Planning and executing events
- Feature pitching
- Issues development (speculatively pitching ideas, writing media alerts, responding to topical issues in the media)
- Client liaison, client meetings, conference calls
- Article placement
- Case study development
- Profile pitching

The role is divided between billable activity (as outlined above) and non billable activities such as participation in performance reviews, reading up on technology, publications etc and to allow for some PR activities to take longer than usual due to the need to get up to speed with a client's technology.

My client only looks to employ graduates of the highest calibre, and as such you must have:

- A minimum of a 2.1 degree in a writing-based discipline
- A minimum of ABB at A-level
- A genuine interest in new technology and business
- Superb communication skills and the confidence to converse with senior professionals
- Enthusiastic, positive and highly motivated individual
- Excellent organisation and time management skills

You must also be able to demonstrate these core skills from experience outside of your degree. This can be from work experience within a PR agency, newspaper publications, involvement with your university newspaper or other relevant experience.
