Joining this boundary breaking business you will be joining a team of PhD researchers who work across a variety of research programmes involving the creation and commercialisation of novel nanostructured materials and thin films.
Having just made a great scientific breakthrough the company are going places fast, due to expand into new facilities they are looking to expand their staff. This is a 'hands-on' role with fantastic potential for new scientific learning and creativity. This is the perfect opportunity to make a difference in a role with on-the-job training and where every week will bring a new and exciting challenge.
You'll be working in a world class, £10k clean facility with state-of-the-art nanomaterial growth systems and analytical equipment.
Essential skills include:
- PhD in Chemistry or Physics relating to chemical synthesis or Material Science
- 2.1 Master's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Condensed Matter Physics or Materials Science
- A's at A-level
- A dynamic and outgoing personality with a strong desire to succeed in a commercial research organisation
- Self motivation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A 'hands on' mentality with a desire to work in a lab based environment
The position may require limited travel to partner facilities within the UK, therefore a full UK driving licence may be beneficial.
